Name spelt as Richard Neeche in "Suffolk Parish Register 1601 - 1657", but spelt as Richard Neech in "A true register of all christeninges, mariages, and burialles in the parishe of St. James, Clarkenwell" for burial record for 6 Dec 1670 "Elizabeth wife of Richard Neech"
Likely that this is the Richard buried in Yaxley
"1639 (Tombstone) Richard Neech Vicar of the Church of St. Mary, Yaxley. (Suffolk)".
In the book 'East Anglian Pedegrees' , there is the description Richard Neech, rector of Gt. Thornham, co. Suff. Will dated 23 Aug 1637; proved 4 March 1637/8 (P.C.C)
In the book 'East Anglian Pedegrees' Richard Need is shown to have two wives, one unknown and the other Elizabeth. Samuel and Thomas are shown as the only children of Elizabeth. However, The Suffolk Parish Registers Index, Thornham Magna Baptisms 1601 -1650, shows that all had a mother Elizabeth, except Samuel and Richard where no mother's name is shown Were there two wives both called Elizabeth?.
