Extract from email from Carol Ratcliffe (nee Neech) My Mother was EVELYN RUBY COOK the daughter of Caroline and Frederick Southwell COOK of Lowestoft. She met my Father in Beccles Norfolk. The only photo of them taken together that I have was taken on their engagement day.They were engaged for 8 years, and married in March 1937 at St. Margaret's Parish Church in Lowestoft. They lived in a flat at 33, Clapham Road, Lowestoft. They divorced about 4 years later. My Father was in the army and later worked for the Refuge Insurance company. My Mum died in 1978.
