Nickname 'Nick'.  In 1932 Ivan started at King Alfred's College in Winchester (since July last The University of Winchester) and a fellow student started calling him Nickie Neech and the name stuck.

Ivan died in June 2002 and at his request his ashes are with his parents and sister in St.Margarets Church Lowestoft
